Who can benefit from Manual Osteopathy?

What do I wear?

Loose, light, stretchy clothing is the best for treatment, such as lightweight pyjamas. If the spine requires evaluation, you may be asked to wear a yoga bra and form fitting shorts or men asked to remove their shirt momentarily. Each client's comfort will be the first consideration and we will work with you. Towels and blankets are always available during the session to make sure you are warm and to make it an comfortable experience.

How many sessions will it take?

Because each condition may vary in its presentation and severity, this is a difficult question to answer. Recent conditions often resolve quickly but issues that have been long standing or are severe will take longer to see the results.

We can discuss your concerns  when you come in, so feel free to ask about this.

Can Manual Osteopathy be combined with other forms of therapy?
